Homeowner Dues:<\/strong> Monthly dues in the amount of $146.00 are due and payable on the 1st of each month. Checks should be made payable to Turlington HOA.<\/p>\n

Late fees:<\/strong> A $20.00 late fee is charged on the last day of each month for any account that has a balance due.<\/p>\n

Insurance Coverage:<\/strong> The Association is a town home community. The Association maintains insurance on common areas ONLY. In addition to the property coverage on any common area buildings, the Association also maintains general liability and Directors & Officers (D&O) coverage. Homeowners own their home and should maintain fire & extended insurance coverage on their unit and personal property by obtaining a HO-3 policy. Homeowners should contact their insurance agent to be sure that they have proper coverage.<\/p>\n

Maintenance Requests:<\/strong> Please note that all maintenance requests MUST be submitted to our office in writing. Forms can be submitted on line through the contact us option at the top of the page, submitted in the portal or written and mailed to our office. For emergencies (roof leaks \/ water leaks) please contact our office at (336) 288-4944.<\/p>\n

Trash Collection:\u00a0<\/strong>All trash needs to be placed inside the dumpster in closed trash bags.<\/p>\n

Architectural Control:<\/strong> Any changes or modifications to the exterior of your town home must receive prior approval from the Association. Forms are above.\u00a0Please allow 30 days for the approval process.<\/p>\n

RIGHT TO INITIATE MEDIATION:\u00a0<\/strong>Pursuant to\u00a0N.C.G.S. \u00a7 7A-38.3F<\/a>, members are notified that they may initiate mediation to try to resolve a dispute with the association; however, the association may decline mediation.\u00a0 Any costs of mediation, including the mediator\u2019s fees, shall be shared equally by the parties.\u00a0 (NOTE: Disputes related solely to a member\u2019s failure to timely pay an association assessment or any fines or fees associated with the levying or collection of an association assessment are not covered by the mediation statute.)<\/p>\n\n\n
